Food and Agribusiness are Ireland’s most important indigenous industry with over 230,000 jobs linked to it through direct or indirect employment and with €8 billion of produce being exported. No one seems to doubt the key role food and agribusiness will play in our future. What is open to debate however, is how best to achieve and harness this growth. Food and agribusiness may hold the key to our economic future, and the Inaugural National Summit will seek to explore all the options open to us to benefit most from future growth and take full advantage of our experience, climate and reputation.
